It seems that Mr elliot now calls himself "travel commentator based in Key Largo, Fla."  ( http://www.elliott.org/ask/2002/game.htm )


or "National Geographic Traveler magazine’s reader advocate " ( http://www.elliott.org/about/ ) instead of OMBUSDSMAN.

At least, people won't be deceived by the belief Mr. Elliot was helping travelers in troubles.

Now things are a little bit better and Mr Elliot can still make EXPEDIA look reputable but not by impersonating the ombudsman public figure.
