I'm sad for all the honest people (if there is one honest at EXPEDIA) that are part of this layoff. Unfortunately, I predict that more EXPEDIA employees will be fired. It is a matter of time. The combination of this finantial crisis with the long time EXPEDIA unethical business practice makes travelers search more about the reputation of the company before booking online. Just search for "EXPEDIA complaints" in google (http://www.google.com/search?hl=en& … complaints) of Yahoo and you will find the well earned awful reputation EXPEDIA has.

I dont know who you are and why you are taking comments from here. Thanks to you i dont think , the purpose of this site is being met, i dont want this to be an open site which allows corrupt minded people like you. I have seen most of the comments posted here being just picked up and put there. We are not here to promote expedia as a bad company, Expedia is a good company, but there are a few people who have scammed expedia and when expedia opposed they opened websites like victims of expedia etc, and they are like eagle hawks looking around to find anything bad about expedia. So i dont want to give them fodder, hence i am temporarily closing this site.
Please mail me at suxpedia@gmail.com if there are any concerns, or anything you want to share with me. I have seen many scammers like you, please dont spoil the basic reason why people want to discuss. Its such online terrorists that spoil open communication.

You might be honest (and perhaps naive to believe EXPEDIA is a good company) but that doesn't help. EXPEDIA indeed scam people. As long as EXPEDIA keeps cheating people I will keep alerting people about how EXPEDIA tried to scam me and I will keep collecting complaints about EXPEDIA in my website . If you don't believe me, ask people inside EXPEDIA that know who I am and what is this about. They handled my case and after I provided evidence of expedia lies and they simply tried to steal my money.
Don't blame me for what is going on. You can start looking for the truth inside EXPEDIA.
You can also ask Mr Dara Khosrowshahi (CEO, Expedia, Inc.) since I e-mailed him all the details about my case but he prefer to ignore me and he is supporting the EXPEDIA scam.
If you are a honest employee you would understand that the EXPEDIA scam is hurting a lot of people and they will keep cheating people. What is hapening is EXPEDIAs fault.
This e-mail is going to be public in www.expedianews.com toghether with your rant about my website. I challenge you to ask Mr Dara Khosrowshahi (CEO, Expedia, Inc.) to personally respond me.
He doesn't care about me or about you. He won't answer you.
Meanwhile, I will keep alerting people.
To show you that I do respect people. I won't post any comment in your blog (mini EXPEDIA) to give you time to ask for the truth. Feel free to allow your coworkers to comment.

3. We are employees trying to make things better, from an execution standpoint, there are issues with customer service etc, which has to go through proper channel, like police complaint etc for better addressing. The more you post everywhere, more people will consider you as a crazy person.
Response: Aren’t you ex-employees? If I understand well you were one in the layoff list. Layoff is an euphemism for “fired”. If you want to make EXPEDIA better, start putting pressure in your company to a) stand behind their products, b) stop EXPEDIA’s lies and deceptive practice, 3) stop falsely promoting your services. The more I post in the internet about the expedia scam, more people will find a safer way to book their trips and vacations.

Expedia does not scam everybody. They are smart scammers. They scam some and they never reimburse a penny for their own mistakes. Their model of business is part scam part legitimate.
If employees and others are not allowed to share information and your spam keeps disturbing what can i do. I thought it was a forum for better communication, but then scavenging is not what i expected, i never knew there was someone like you, but even after knowing you do you think i can do anything for you ? Do you think seeing this i will quite expedia ? Will you pay my healthcare ? Will you pay my salary ?
Response: Reading the poor ethical values of your comments, and the poor judgement you have for dealing with the reality, it doesn’t seem you are qualified enough to choose the place where you can work. Now, you prefer to try to keep your “confortable” position at EXPEDIA without even looking for the truth.
What was your response to the layoff? You immediately created a blog pretending to be “someone who loves EXPEDIA” saying that EXPEDIA is “a great company”. The fact that that is just a kissing ass response for your misery (sorry for the bad words but I couldn’t find a better one. If you don’t know what it means: To act submissively or obsequiously towards people of influence or power in order to gain position or favor). Do you Think EXPEDIA will hire you again for doing that? That is not the response you need to pay you healthcare or provide for you and your family. You need to be objective and be strong to accept the fact that EXPEDIA does not care about you. Never did.
Did you try to contact the Customer Advisory Department to ask about their version about my case? Did you try to contact Mr. Dara Khosrowshahi (CEO, Expedia, Inc.) and ask him why he cowardly ignore my e-mails after I provided evidence of expedia mistakes and lies?.
It is easy now to understand why EXPEDIA is probably the best place for you. No I don’t think you will quit and I understand now why people like you were fired. You are not smart enough to discriminate the reality and that is not good for a job position requiring abstract thinking in a top company. Only EXPEDIA hired you. And later fired you when they don’t longer need you. Or maybe when they realized you are not skilled enough.
I understand that people need to make a living but working for a scammer is not the best option. An advice for you: look for other options. Now it is a matter of time, EXPEDIA is now at the beginning of its downfall. Did you see how expedia stocks are falling? I don’t think they will hire you again. I believe they are going to fire more people. If you really want to help your co-workers alert them. Tell them that there is a big possibility they are going to be fired too. Tell them that there is a huge campaign to stop the EXPEDIA scam and that the company is going to fall sooner or later. It is a fact.
So i guess instead of trying this random way, approach the right way and dont demean the purpose of communication, and dont spread your hatred to everyone. Since you "think" you are scammed, all you can do is stop future visits to expedia. You cannot change the whole world isnt it .. I think microsoft is also corrupt, they have done a lot to kill small companies, but i dont go about scamming about them. I had issues with every online provider, some delay shipment, amazon lost my order , etc you dont find me posting everywhere bad about them , i know how to deal with the problem in the right and positive way.
Response: I don’t “think” I was scammed. EXPEDIA attempted to scam me (1254,95 USD) and failed miserably. I lost thousands of dollars because of that attempt.
Dont try to change the world, try to see you dont get scammed ever by making sure that you learn from the experience. Expedia is a huge company, they cannot survive on scamming a few people.
Response: I probably won’t change the world but I will make it a little bit better for others. So, far, thousands of people are now aware of the EXPEDIA scam and they will think twice before booking through EXPEDIA.
Please do post it on your blog, i dont mind, but the point is that you have destroyed the basic communication channel that some empoyees had.
